Cookie Policy
Effective 27 May 2026 · Version 2026-05-27
What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use strictly necessary cookies to run the Service, and, only with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies using our cookie banner, and change your choice at any time by reopening it. Rejecting also removes any analytics cookies already set.
Some measurement does not involve your device at all. Where we count visits to our public marketing pages without storing or reading anything on your device, no cookie is involved and none is set, so your banner choice does not apply to it. We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding how our own website is used; you can object at any time by contacting us. This never applies to the signed-in application.
Cookies we use
| Category | Provider | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | RemitClear / Supabase | Sign-in session, security, and remembering your cookie choices | Always on (no consent required) |

| Analytics | PostHog (EU) | Understanding how our public marketing pages are used, so we can improve them. Not used in the signed-in application. | Runs without cookies by default, storing nothing on your device. Only with your consent does it set cookies, remember you between visits, and record your session on our marketing pages |
| Advertising | Google Ads (gtag.js) | Measuring the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns | Set only with your consent |
| Analytics (cookieless) | Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights | Privacy-friendly, aggregated performance and traffic measurement that does not use cookies | No cookies set; no consent required |
Managing cookies
Non-essential cookies are only set after you accept them in our banner. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Service from working. Questions can be sent to privacy@remitclear.com.
